The largest source of untapped potential in many organisations is their women who tend to be concentrated in lower grades. This course is designed to motivate women and give them the self-confidence to influence and manage their careers more successfully. A lot of focus is given to identifying and improving existing skills, which can result in more effective working.
Another key benefit is that many women feel more confident about making the transition to higher grades though promotion. Even if they do not wish to progress they can make a more effective contribution to the success of the business thought the development of assertiveness, confidence and improved motivation impacting upon relations with customers and colleagues alike.
Springboard is usually run inside organisations so if it's not being run in your workplace contact your HR or training department and put them in touch with us so that we can come along and run a course for you. However, thanks to Big Lottery support we are able to run a series of open workshops in the Bolton area throughout 2009/2010 - offering a limited number of free and subsidised places to women in voluntary, third and statutory sector posts. For further details of these sponsored workshops please check the Whats On page or look for via the training pages on the Bolton CVS website.
Alternatively, if you are motivated and organised you can get together with a group of other women and we can come along to deliver a programme especially for you. You will probably need 10 to 15 women to make this viable but you could reduce costs by hosting it at one of your homes and doing your own catering! Please feel free to contact us at any time for an informal chat about any of your ideas around how you can experience Springboard.
If you are an HR, diversity, equal opportunities or training manager and would like to help your women make more of their career and deliver measurable benefits for your organisation then please contact us for an informal chat. We are happy to arrange a visit to find out more about your organisation and how we could help you get more from and give more to your women.
